When dogs receive proper training,
they become good canine citizens,
and are usually considered to be
wonderful family companions.

When dogs are well trained,
they do make wonderful companions.

When they aren't trained,
it's a very different story.

Statistics show 
that many
of the dogs
that aren't trained
end up in shelters.

It would be nice if we could
 just wish upon a star
or wave a magic wand
and instantly have 
a well trained dog.

It just doesn't
work that way. 

It takes patience & hard work.

Training your puppy
can be a little bit
like walking through
a dark eerie forest
if you aren't
fully prepared.

Pawsitive Puppy Preschool 
provides a solid foundation 
for your new puppy
at the developmental stage 
that socialization 
is most important.

It is also important
that your puppy,
not be given
improper correction 
at this age.

Improper correction
during the "fear imprint" stage
of 8-11 weeks of age
could cause behavior problems
that you could be dealing with
for a very long time.

You will be provided with 
all the information
that you need
to continue puppy's education
once puppy comes home.

Pawsitive Puppy Preschool
provides an intensive
five week training program.

We use only the most compassionate
motivational methods of instruction.

Your puppy will learn only by
pawsitive reinforcement
and gentle repetition.

We believe in the three P's ~
Patience, Practice & Praise.

This is the "cornerstone" of all training.

We encourage you to add
a fourth "P" to the mix.
"PERSEVERANCE"

Training will begin at the age of 7 weeks.
You will pick your puppy up here
at the age of 12 weeks.

Your puppy will have had a head start
in becoming a much loved companion.

We will accustom your puppy to go to bed 
and get up in the morning
according to your personal schedule.

We will also implement
a feeding schedule
to meet your personal schedule
as well as your puppy's needs.

If you work during the day,
and will only be feeding
morning & evening,
we will need to know
the approximate time
that meals will be served.

We train each puppy individually
using the terms you specify.

For example, do you prefer ~
"Let's go outside" or "time to go outside"?
"do business" or "hurry, go potty"?
"hush" or "no "bark"?

Upon receipt of 50%
of the preschool fee,
we will email you the link
to gain access
to six weekly lesson plans
which will be your guideline
for the first six weeks
that your puppy is at home
following puppy preschool.

With the lesson plans,
you will learn how 
to correctly reinforce
what your puppy has been taught
at puppy preschool.

You will learn
how to successfully
continue house training
and crate training.

You will learn
how to use
the time out bed.

You will learn
games to play
with your puppy.

You will learn
how to evaluate
your puppy's personality.

You will learn how to
reinforce the basic commands.

You are welcome to access
the training area
for as long as needed.
