I'm a preschool puppy
and I think I'm very lucky 
to be going to puppy school...
Puppy school is really cool.
You'll be really proud of me...
I am as smart as I can be

When I'm asked to share
It's okay - I never care.
When I'm asked to sit & stay
I never try to run away
I know how to sit & stay
in the most appropriate way

I like resting my head
on my big soft time out bed
but if I ever had the choice
I'd prefer your bed instead
I'm not yippy - I'm not yappy
and I like to take my nappy.

I chase my Crazy Ball
It's the best ball of them all.
I like my Babble Ball too
I still need a ball or two.
I chase the bubbles Teacher blows
I watch the Doggie Video
'Cause I'm a pre-school puppy

I never fall down or stumble
when I'm running though the tunnel
All the puppies must take turns
or our treats just won't be earned
Some run fast and some run slow
I wait 'til Teacher says to "go"...
'Cause I'm a pre-school puppy

Turn the sprinklers on
Put some water in my pool
I really like to splash & play 
on a warm & sunny day
I'll eat a frosty paw and then
I'll jump & splash & swim again
'Cause I'm a pre-school puppy

I am pawsitively good
I do everything I should
I don't nip & I don't chew...
It's not the proper thing to do
I don't jump & I don't bite
I always try to do things right
'Cause - I'm a pre-school puppy.

When I'm in "time out"
I can wiggle all about
I can sleep or I can play
until Teacher says "okay"
then we play "go find the balls"
and I try to find them all.
'Cause - I'm a pre-school puppy.

Sometimes Teacher is a grouch
but she's taught me "off" & "ouch"
She can be a little firm
but that's how little puppies learn
When she gives me Yummy Treats
I think my Teacher's really neat
'Cause - I'm her pre-school puppy.

I already know my name
I play lots of puppy games
I know when to wait & come
I am having so much fun
It's impolite to guard my food..
'cause'guarding food is really rude
I'm a pre-school puppy.

I go potty outdoors
I don't go potty on the floors
I like sleeping in my crate...
Sleeping in my crate is great
I never never whine
or bark that's "mine, mine, mine"
'Cause - I'm a pre-school puppy.

I can walk up stairs
I can walk down the stairs
I play nicely with my toys
and I never make much noise
I'm as good as I can be
for a little dog like me.
'Cause - I'm a pre-school puppy

On the leash I never pull...
Teacher says that is the rule
Even when walking on loose leash
I still let my Teacher lead
When I'm told to sit & down
I'm not allowed to clown around
'Cause - I'm a pre-school puppy.

I have played with the cat...
He is really not "all that"
Met some little children too - 
They're real small but they will do
Met the Vet and met the Groomer
They're not mean...
That's just a rumor
I'm a pre-school puppy

I walk up the teeter totter
and walk down the other side
I can climb the puppy tree house
but I'm still afraid to slide
I can lay down in the cubby
it's a very good place to hide
'Cause - I'm a pre-school puppy.

When I'm asked to do a down
it does no good to wear a frown
cause' I have to obey..
It's the puppy preschool way.
We work day & we work night
and sometimes we even puppy fight
but best friends we'll stay.

I am going home soon
I know there is lots of room
in their hearts for me...
We'll be a real family
And I'll really love them too
and our love will see us through.

Thanks for sending me to school
Now I know I shouldn't drool...
I am learning lots of stuff
so life with me won't be so tough...
And I promise to be good
just like a preschool puppy should.

Soon you'll come to school to get me
