Many of you have
emailed and ask where
our Cockapoos live
& our puppies are raised.
I thought this
page might save me some time by
giving you a glimpse
into their daily lives.
Our dogs are not
crated or caged unless they are
close to delivering
their litter or nursing.
In that case, they
stay in the nursery which is located
in a mobile home
that is on our property.
This allows our
Mothers to raise their puppies
in a sanitary,
quiet, stress free enviornment.
Nursing mothers
and puppies are cared
for daily by their
caregivers.
Mating & grooming is also accomplished
in the mobile home
in rooms reserved for that purpose..
Our dogs are part
of our family.
As crazy
as it sounds........and sometimes is......
our dogs live with
us and are considered to be our "kids".
They do have their
own room indoors
as well as a fenced
outdoor play area
where they spend
most of their time.
They also spend
alot of time with us.
*Dumpy, Callie,
Hanson, & Doogie*...
Just hanging out
in my office on a relaxing afternoon.
They enjoy our company,
we cherish the
time spent with them,
and they are completely
content
because they all
have each other.
*NAPPY TIME*
We believe that
happy dogs produce happy puppies
so striving to
keep our dogs happy is important to us.
I hope you enjoy
your visit.
Here are a few photos
of their decor....
(They requested
that their room be decorated in Americana & Teddys.)
Please
note that this page is photo intense.
If all
the photos do not load - Please refresh the page
and
they should all load for you.
The door from their
room opens into their fenced play yard
which is where
they spend much of the day weather permitting.
The room is air
conditioned so in hot weather we leave the door open all day
so they can come
in and lay where it's cool if they wish.
This is just part
of their room
showing the door
that leads to their play yard.
No home is complete
without the junk food stash....
Just a few of the
gang coming inside to see what I am doing.
We keep them groomed
very short in the summer
so they can be
more comfortable.
In the winter,
we let their coats grow out
and they look more
like Cockapoos.
I took this photo
through the window.
It's difficult
to get decent photos if I am outside with them
because they like
to stay close to me.
They spend most
of the day just playing or resting
and are very content
to be together.
They like to play
in their little log cabins
when they
want some private time.
Parfait & Becca
both have first dibs on this one.
Brenna & Rosie
hanging out together ~
and lookin' for
trouble.....
Hanson taking time
out to pose for the camera
Checking out the
play yard toy box.
We try to change
their toys every week or so to prevent boredom.....
and then they chew
the sticks they find anyway....
Ya still gotta
love em'....
I think Maggie is
still waiting for the stick...
Molly Muffin waiting
for someone to refill the water bowl...
We like to keep
their indoor temperature at approx. 70 degrees
and check several
times daily to make sure they are comfortable.
