this is a matter of very serious concern
to all breeders and
to everyone interested in purchasing a
puppy of any breed online.
Online
puppy scams are becoming widespread.
Photos
are being stolen from reputable breeder's web sites and
posted as puppies for sale on puppyfind.com and
other classified sites.
Recently,it
was brought to our attention that
our beloved male stud dog, Amigo, who
is now a fully matured adult, had
his puppy photo posted as a
six week old female for sale for $400.00... Shipping
Included - Delivered To Your Door..
The
person who posted the ad has NO puppy to sell you and
will take your money and run.
I
assure you that our Amigo is not for sale!
This
scammer is using the username gaurav on puppyfind &
listed as being from Bainbridge, Pa.
He
copied the ad he used word for word from
a valid ad we do have on
another web site.
The
ad reads as follows:

person who posted the puppyfind ad is an imposter!
We
were initally very upset with puppyfind. They
still have not responded to numerous emails or
phone messages but the ad has been removed.
I
had to pay $5.99 to write a review and
add a disclaimer for the ad to try to
warn people not to send the poster money. I
am now a bit more sympathetic toward puppyfind as
other breeders have told me that puppyfind is
totally overwhelmed with the number of scam ads posted and
most are paid for with stolen credit cards. They
are apparently as much a victim as we have been... However,
our position remains that the owners of puppyfind.com are
fully responsible for the content on their site.
This

that has this puppy on it and this puppy is a male
that is named Amigo The person trying to sell
this puppy as a female is just trying to scam us! Go and check out this information

took several days for us to
get the ad removed from
the puppyfind.com site &
we do not know who removed it. It
may have been the poster.
I

The
person who posted the ad apparently
thinks mixed breeds can
be A.K.C. registered as purebreds.
Our
dogs are all NAPCB registered as true Cockapoos. Cockapoos
are a "mixed breed".
We
also have a firm policy about not docking tails. We
consider it to be a cruel & inhumane practice.
We
do not ship our puppies and
we certainly do not sell them for
$400.00 with shipping included.
If
it sounds too good to be true....run!

have been informed that the only crime this
(IM)-poster can be charged with is Identity Theft.
Apparently,
his only mistake was using my business name Cuddlespice
Cockapoos in the ad he posted.
I
guess it is no big deal to
steal other people's photos and
post them as your own photos.
Tell
people a puppy will be shipped to your door in the US from
LONDON.....and all within 24 hours...for $400.00. Blatently
lie in an internet ad, try to sell a dog you don't own, sell
the same dog to more than one person, break copyright laws.
Ruin
the valuable reputations of other people that
they have worked hard to earn for years.
Tell
people a registration paper comes from a VET as
an assurance of good health.
Represent
a mixed breed as being A.K.C.
registered, champion sired, show potential ...................and
the list goes on & on.
Maybe
I am in the wrong business!
Too
bad there is not a law against being STUPID... There
probably should be!
The
Attorney General's office can/will get involved now
that a crime has been established..... -
That crime being Identity theft - Hopefully,
their intention will be to deal with the
fraud portion of this mess. At
this point, we really aren't sure.
Internet
crime seems to be an area where
the laws are not very clear.
